i've been gone all weekend, and I should have scheduled a post, but lack of sleep makes you forget. so here is (another) photo sunday.

every year, I seem to always talk myself out of how many creepsters make the strawberry days carnival their habitat. First I feel like a small child, entranced by all the glowing lights and pretty rides- and of course ride my favorite Ferris wheel. Nothing could go wrong in our world. Then I step off the wheel of wonder, my friend and i get hit on by a creepy carnival worker, and we quickly link arms and run away from all things carnival.
I'm happy I haven't been killed yet.

today's photo is dedicated to my dear friend Joshua, who texted me this morning to tell me he got engaged to his dear Katy. I'm ecstatic for them both!
basically i just love when two people are in love.

To liven up the blog, i'm going to start a new tradition

Usually they will be a random photo from the week that I rather enjoy, or maybe a blast from the past. Perhaps I'll write a little snippet on it, or perhaps there will be no significance at all. Whichever the case, introducing photo friday!

I don't particularly eat very sweet stuff often. Rich chocolate? Not a fan. And lots of frosting is a necessary evil. Especially on cupcakes. Hence, at wedding receptions, I decide to document the facts that frosting should remain on the side (no matter how pretty it looks).
